Frequently asked questions
Do I really need to preview furniture placement?
Many people only discover after moving in that the passage is too narrow or a door won't open once the bed or sofa is in place. Trying your room size, shape, and furniture dimensions beforehand lets you catch overlaps and passage problems before you measure the real room.
What if I don't know the exact furniture size?
Beds come as presets in standard sizes (Twin/Full/Queen/King) so you can place one without knowing the exact size. For everything else, measure it yourself or enter the width × depth printed on the product page.
How much passage width should I leave in a small room?
A basic walking passage should be at least 60cm. This simulator warns you in real time whenever a passage narrows below that as you place furniture.
Can I paste a product link to auto-fill the size?
Not currently. Most furniture retail sites block automated scraping, so this tool uses manual size entry instead — you can toggle between cm and mm depending on what's printed on the label.
Can I save or share my layout?
Yes. Press "Copy layout link" and your current layout is encoded into a single URL. Opening that link reproduces the exact same layout — handy for sharing a plan with family or a roommate.
